A Thoughtful Approach to Psychiatric Care

Psychiatric symptoms rarely exist in isolation. Difficulty concentrating isn't always ADHD. Low energy isn't always depression. Anxiety, sleep, medical conditions, stress, and life circumstances can all influence mental health.

At Unbridled Psychiatry, appointments are designed to understand the whole picture, not just treat a diagnosis. Together, we'll discuss your symptoms, previous treatments, and goals so that recommendations are based on thoughtful clinical reasoning rather than assumptions.

Medication can be an important part of treatment, but it isn't the answer to every problem. My role is to determine if, when, and how medication fits into your overall care. When psychotherapy would be beneficial, I'll help connect you with the right therapist while continuing to manage your psychiatric medications.

Psychiatric care that begins with understanding, not assumptions. Every treatment plan is built around thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and practical recommendations that support lasting progress.

Anxiety & Mood Disorders

Anxiety, depression, panic attacks, obsessive thinking, mood disorders, and life stress can affect every aspect of daily life. Because many psychiatric conditions share similar symptoms, treatment begins with understanding what is actually driving your concerns rather than assuming every symptom points to a single diagnosis.

Our work together focuses on improving day-to-day functioning, restoring emotional stability, and helping you move forward with greater confidence. Recommendations may include medication, psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, additional evaluation, or a combination of approaches based on your individual needs.

Medication Management & Supportive Therapy

Medication can be an important part of psychiatric treatment, but it isn't the only tool, and it isn't the right answer for every situation.

Appointments are designed to review how you're doing as a whole, not simply refill prescriptions. We'll discuss what's working, what's changed, any side effects you're experiencing, and whether your current treatment still makes sense.

When medication is recommended, you'll understand why. When it isn't, we'll discuss other strategies that may be more likely to help.

Visits also include supportive counseling, education, and practical problem-solving related to your mental health. While Unbridled Psychiatry does not provide ongoing weekly psychotherapy, I work closely with therapists and frequently recommend therapy as part of a comprehensive treatment plan when appropriate.

ADHD Evaluation & Management

Comprehensive assessment and treatment for attention and executive functioning concerns. The evaluation process is thoughtful and structured, with careful consideration of history, current symptoms, and overall functioning.

To make the most of your initial appointment, patients are asked to complete brief screening tools in advance. When available, prior evaluations, rating scales (such as the ASRS), or input from someone who knows you well can be especially helpful in clarifying diagnosis.

While many patients are able to begin discussing treatment options during the initial visit, recommendations are always based on a careful and individualized assessment. The goal is to ensure that treatment is appropriate, effective, and aligned with your overall clinical picture.
